Gran Torino

Great movie, good from being to end, story is about a old white guy seen the town he lives in change. some events starting with his wife dying and some new Asian neighbors that he had a lot more colorful name than that. events cause him to interact more than he would like with his neighbors. he had some new experiences good and bad with come together to make a good story and a excellent movie. Glad to see that Clint Eastwood had one more great movie left in him, thumbs up

Punisher: War Zone

Good movie, way better than I thought it was going to be and miles better than the first one. close to being just like the comic, the best way I can describe the Punisher character is judge, jury, and executioner or better yet express judge, jury, and executioner the way the justice system should be. Thumbs up.

The Day the Earth Stood Still

Good movie, I think if a alien did come to earth this is how things would probably turn out without the text book ending, never underestimate human stupidity. Not worth going to the theater to watch, would have been a great DVD to rent an watch at home.

Twilight

? movie, not as bad as I thought it was going to be just not my cup of tea. If you liked Dawson Creek or watching PBS then this movie would be right for you.

PS. except Antique Road Show that show is cool, I have some old stuff, I should go on that show and get rich, they would probably say sir let me throw that out for you.

Transporter 3

Good movie, pretty much the same story as the other movies which is a good plot, but they kind of pushed it this time it's either he has super powers or not. Example getting thrown thru a concert wall and not even a scratch on him, I'm sure it would be the other way around. other than that a good movie go watch.

Soul Men

really good movie, I thought it was going to suck but I was surprise to see it had a great story line and funny. Bernie Mac is one funny guy too bad he died, but I guess "that's life" ? if someone dies can you still use that phrase anyway at least he went out on a high note. thumbs up

Sex Drive

Really good movie, reminds me of Ferris Bueller's Day Off which I'm pretty sure that's where they got the idea for this movie. it was original, funny and had a good story which I think a lot of movies nowadays are lacking. The best way to sum up this movie is boy's quest to get some tail, sounds crude but this movie is crude too, so if you don't mind watching crude movies, this one will be great, thumbs up.

Role Models

Lame movie, it started out promising, but shortly after that got predictable. their not much more I can say, if you haven't watched Sex Drive watch it instead. if you seen it watch it again it'll be money well spend.

Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa

Real fun animated movie, funny and had a good story the penguins are by far my favorite, next would be the king. go watch bring kids if you have, if you don't have that fine we're all just big kids anyway. Thumbs up

Saw V

Good movie, the thing that threw me for a loop was that this movie was made to explain what happened in saw 4, god know I forgot most of what happen in saw 4. You would have to watch saw 4 again to appreciate this movie I didn't like saw 4 but maybe this movie will explain a lot. they did this in saw 2 & 3 but those two movie had a better individual story where it seems 4& 5 should have been one movie. Just as gruesome a the others, remember watch saw 4 again if if you don't remember it too well, it will help you piece things together.

Max Payne

Ok movie, a little disappointed I was expecting to see a lot more action. Maybe it's but because I played the game and was running around shooting everything that moved. the original story in the game is a lot better too this plot was just weak, but I watched a all of it and wasn't pissed off so I guess it's ok.

Eagle Eye

Really good movie, I haven't seen Shia LaBeouf in a crappy movie yet knock on wood. The plot is a old one but a different sequence of events. this movie had me sympathizing with the "bad guy or thing" (don't want to ruin it for anyone) but I think it had the right Idea. Go watch, thumbs up

Bangkok Dangerous

Good Movie, a little bit predictable but anything with Nicolas Cage in it will be a pretty good movie.

Babylon A.D.

Thumbs down, If you have watch the animated movie you know what the story should be about, but this movie is completely different just bad. there are points in the movie were I think I figured out the story then the story changes, then I finally figured it out the movie has no story. If you're thinking about watching this movie watch something else

Death Race

Really good movie, with Jason Statham from the transporter you know it has to be good and Tyrese Gibson is starting to be one of the actor I respect I haven't seen him in a bad movie yet. He's mostly the co star but he's the best co star, I thing I have ever seen. Thumbs up

Tropic Thunder

Dumb movie, but it's OK to watch great acting and I laughed. I think why it needed improve is because Ben Stillar was the producer, director, actor, writer, etc. because it's hard to provide a objective eye for yourself and some parts were just stupid. I will give this one a pass.

Step Brothers

funny movie, at the begin I thought it was going to be stupid but it got funny and kept me laugh all the way thru go watch but be prepared for crude humor. definitely not for kids

Meet Davie

Good movie, the story is OK Eddie Murphy is a great actor but this movie is not one of the best movies he has done more on the level of Dr. Dolittle but still good, go watch.

Journey to the Center of the Earth

Good movie , Brendan Fraser is one of those really dependable actor that if you like any of his movies the rest are really the same, go watch. Is it me are he never ages being watching him for year's still look the same. watch in like the mummy five he's going too say surprise and suck the life out off every one on the movie set. Great movie if you have kids take them to see it.



PS. definitely going to watch the mummy Jet lee is one of the best actors.

The Dark Knight

Good movie, but the characters are not the same as the comic or the cartoon, lets start with "BATMAN" something just don't match up for me his Confidence in himself, I guess it could be him playing a younger less mature Batman, that's fine. the other thing he talks like he has hot coal in his mouth sound dumb. The biggest problem for me is the "JOKER" not really a problem just a long as they don't call him the Joker he is not even close to being the joker, first he does not smile how can the Joker not smile come on and he's DIRTY the thing that makes the Joker the Joker is the fact that he is well dressed, hair well done, and he doesn't walk around like a zombie on speed, am I right maybe it just me. But it still a good movie, I liked the character they played, go watch just don't expect to see The batman go to see the "DARK KNIGHT".



PS I know he's playing the role of the original joker but i like the improved joker better

Hellboy 2: The Golden Army

OK movie, the movie wasn't as good as the first, it was a pretty wrapper with little substance. the movie had great visual effects, but that was where they poured all there effort when they should have focus on the story. Would love to see a hell boy 3 they still left the story open for more.

Wanted

OK movie, the beginning was excellent action packed great story and the promise of more but by the middle the story kind of flat lined were they stayed in one scene like watch it rain waiting for lightning but not seen one. Usually a movie starts out slow then finishes good, but this movie is the opposite like when you think you're going to get something good for your birthday and you get something OK you're sad, but if you think you're getting something OK an you get something good you're happy that sums up this movie.

Wall-E

OK movie, in the beginning it seemed like one of those animated short story that you see on the web that went on way too long but in the middle it picked up and turned out to be a decent movie, great CGI.

Hancock

Good movie, the story went a little different than I expected but still a good story. Don't know if it a original story though I think I saw something like this before or read it, if you know of a story like this let me know. Can't say anymore don't want to ruin it for you go watch, thumb up

The Incredible Hulk

Good movie, the action was great. Don't think Edward Norton has the look of a scientist but he played the role well. It felt like the same old story to me, but the action was great and the old story is good too, so thumbs up

The Happening

Not a good movie, the movie sucked from beginning to end and the story was not good. The only thing you would miss if you don't watch it is people killing them selfs for no reason, but I thing it was because they were in this awful movie so they had to commit suicide. here how anyone should watch this movie or any M. Night Shyamalan film you find out what time the movie is going to end then you watch any other movie then when it's 5 min before the M. Night Shyamalan movie is going to be over you watch the last 5 min then you see the twisted, which is the only reason to watch his movies in the first place, thumbs down

You Don't Mess With The Zohan

stupid movie, It had a little mystery at the begin were I thought to myself why does he catches everything in his butt then the mystery was solved 5 min later when he said he wanted to be a hair dresser, but he's likes old lady in the middle it got slightly ok but still a stupid movie. thumbs down

Kung Fu Panda

Good movie, the CG was great and the story was good too. great to take the kids to watch or go by yourself, just as long as you can get over the annoying laughter of kids it's cutie at first but they laugh at anything, anyway thumbs up

The Chronicles Of Narnia: Prince Caspian

Good adventure movie, easy to get into the story. just as good as the first movie, just go see it. thumbs up

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull

Sucked, that the best way I can put it. Harrison Ford look 40yr too old to be going on any adventures. The scene in the movie were too choreographed like if they made one wrong step Harrison Ford would break his hip and also the scenes didn't fit well together like after every action scene he goes an takes a nap, kind of makes me wish he had taking human grow hormones like Sylvester Stallone then it could be a good movie like Rambo. Here the name this movie should have Indiana Jones and the lost medication. Go watch because it's Indiana Jones and you have to watch it not because it any good. thumbs down.

Baby Mama

No good, was crap from begin to end. not funny at all their were some funny moments that were the parts with Steve Martin in it. all the parts they wanted people to laugh at they emphasize it, like a knock knock joke or they would repeat it just to make sure you know it's a joke only problem it wasn't funny.In the first 15min I give it a few pity laughs but shortly after that I was saying to myself please stop this awful movie, thumbs down

Speed Racer

Good movie, must admit i was never a speed racer fan not even as a kid but this movie was pretty good. most of the races had me feeling like I was on a acid trip from all the light and scenes that made me think the guys who made the movie was definitely on a acid trip, but the story was good, so thumb up

Iron Man

Great movie, I was surprised, not a fan of Robert Downey Jr. but this role fit him well. I am thinking they should turn all of the 90's toons into movies, including Thunder Cat I know you're thinking what, but trust me if done right it should be awesome. One thing, stop putting that old guy Stan Lee in these movies, every time I see him in one of his movies it just mess the movie up for me, please stop you're not Quentin Tarantino too tell the truth, I don't want to see him in his movie either, thumbs up.

Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay

OK movie, I laughed but did not feel satisfied, maybe it's because I was expecting a little more, the first was hilarious the second is plain old good or OK. go see for yourself

The Forbidden Kingdom

great movie, I alway wanted to see jet li and Jackie Chan fight. anyone who likes Jet Li and Jackie Chan movie this is a must see. Could have done without the kid but I guess you have to market to a wide audience. thumbs up

Street Kings

Good movie, a movie about dirty cops. like it from being to end, the plot of the movie is about a good cop VS bad cop, or bad cop VS bad cop Don't want to ruing the movie for you just go watch. thumbs up

PS. here's a joke. want to find a stone that can detect a dirty cop, go out side pick up a stone and throw it into a police station, tada magic. just joking most of the cop out there good cop

The Bank Job

OK movie, the first half was boring the second half good which makes it OK. so go watch the second half, just kidding watch it if you watched the movie I said was good already.

College Road Trip

neutral, It seem to be more of a kids movie, for the Hannah Montana crowd, so that's probably why I didn't think it was good, the ending was pretty funny, watch it if you have kids who like the Disney channel.

Rambo lV

Great action movie, I would recommend this to be at the top of anyone's to watch list. The best movie of the Rambo series to me, I'm not a big fan of sequels, because they usual are bad or don't live up to the previous movies. but this one not only live up to the previous Rambo movies it probably exceeds them and ends the series on a high note. all thumbs up.

Vantage Point

Good movie, good from being to end. The movie is about the view of several different people, how they witness the shooting and event after. What made it really good for me is that you can't guess what going to happen next until it plays out. thumbs up

Be Kind Rewind

One of the boring-est movie I have ever seen. the plot of the movie is that the video tapes in a video rental store got erased, so two guys make the movies over. From what I seen from the make over tapes was two guys acting like fool for 20 min. which they charge 20 dollar for two tapes. To be honest I slept thru most of it. To finish don't watch this movie unless you like sleeping around strangers, and to be woke up by a broom hitting your leg because you over slept, good sleep though.

PS: is it just me are does most def characters in his movies always slow in the head, could just be me

Semi-Pro

It's was as stupid as I thought it was going to be, but the story wasn't bad which is why I watched the whole movie, the last 20 min of the movie was pretty OK. the song at the beginning of the movie was hilarious. Came together good enough to be a OK movie. Wouldn't put it at the top of any watch list, but if you don't have anything better to do or a better movie to watch, watch it.

good movie did not know where they were going with the jumper plot but it all came together nicely. not that good of an ending but would be great if they made a part two. thumbs up

Not worth watching, a next bad mimic of scary movie, sure their were funny part but you already saw them in the commercial. So theirs no need to pay to see it again. thumbs down
