Ok movie, I'm surprise to be saying it was a ok movie. Maybe because I went in with low expectations. but this one had a little interesting twist to it. And yeah the gruesome death which, I'm a little tried of. Wish they focused more and the story, or both unless there target audience is psychopaths. A straight to DVD movie, not worth going to the theaters to watch.

Rise of the Planet of the Apes

Really good movie, the prequel to the Planet of the Apes movie series. About a young geneticist trying to come up with a break thru care for is father and the world at large. what he ended up creating wasn't what he intended, a new intelligent race of monkeys or should I say apes. To me it explained a lot, don't know if that's how the original writer envision the beginning. But this movie didn't hurt the Planet of the Apes brand, just a great addition. Great movie with stunning visual effects, go watch thumbs up.

The Help

truly an excellent movie, pre-civil rights era from the view of the women that were the help(slaves that got paid) no sugar coating here. Its about there stories, what they when thru, it was tough far sure but they held strong. But at the same time this movie was heart warming and down right funny. Minny Jackson was the funniest help, and she refused to put up with any crap lol. I just wouldn't eat any pies from her. more thumbs up than I have up, go watch when it comes out.

Excellent movie, some part I thought, I was going to die laughing. It's about a two recently single Dylan (Timberlake) and Jamie (Kunis).Jamie is a head hunter that's trying to recruit Dylan they ended up being friend, and they also thought it would be a good idea to add benefits. Just really funny I would pay to watch it again, when it comes out.

Really good movie, as the title says the first X-men. Charles Xavier, magneto, Mystique and even Wolverine for a slit second, but one of the best part of the whole movie. Its about how they first met, and there first villain. just a really good movie go watch thumbs up.

Excellent movie, I'm scared the next movie is going to suck an, ruin the Pirates of the Caribbean name. But they always make an excellent adventure movie. This movie is about, the search for the fountain of youth. captain Jack Sparrow again, is rival and first, first mate Barbossa, and the infamous black beard. Sailing the sea to find the fountain of youth. loved it from beginning to end. thumbs up, excellent movie go watch.

Stupid movie, true be told. I thought the first one was just mildly funny. maybe shock humor isn't my thing. his time there in Thailand,got messed up again. Next day they try to put it, all back together. here's apart i find particularly stupid. Some kid they were with got his finger cut off, he cut it off we find out in the end But he's all cool with it, uh dude we had a good time so it's cool. I've had good time but I wouldn't trade a finger for a good time story. thumbs down

Ok another one that should've went, straight to DVD. I'm pretty sure, the theme of this movie was a teaching one. Kids accept people for who, they are and alternative fuel is a myth. Right on both account. but so is don't running with scissors, but I wouldn't make a movie about that. its a kids movie so i think kids wold injoy it.

Ok movie, not as good as the first, but sequels rarely are. the movie is abut pow's past and why is father isn't a goose, thought they shouldn't got a little more laugh out of that, but they kind of cut it short. all in all it's ok but i rather it had went straight to DVD.

No good, wasn't expecting much, from this movie and it delivered on my expectation. Had a lot of good B list actors, like Reta and detective Sucras,b from DEXTER which had me thinking. This movie is like what the other people are doing in great alien invasion movie. While will Smith is punching out aliens and saying cool stuff like welcome to earth. theirs got to be someone out there running around like headless chickens. So if you interested in that watch this movie other wise thumbs down. It did get and interesting plot twist at the end with I think should have be the main movie.

Jackass 3D

Really good movie, I must admit, I was a little scared and It takes a lot to scary me. Its surprising how scary it was, I mean the whole movie took place in a elevator. Goes to show you a good plot goes a long way. I'm not going to write about this movie in details because it was nice following the story. So, go watch thumbs up.

Awful movie, cheesy music, cheesy acting, bad directing and writing just a big mess. where to start, the dramatic music gave me a head ache like nothing else it just went on and on. Thought it was a musical for a little but no one song so I guess not. But they did dance for 5 min before the can use their powers. So anyone with 50/50 vision and a gun wins, you have 5 min shoot in their general direction bound to get a hit. Now the acting with self narration, for example a guy climbing a ladder, someone shouts out he's climbing a ladder, like the old time batman show. I was clapping at the end of the movie because I was glad it was over. I think their going to make a part two, which I won't be watching. Even if James Cameron wrote and directed it and the actors were play boy bunnies in 3D.......... Ok that's a excellent idea, anyone got James Cameron phone # let get it started :). Awful movie please don't watch it only encourages.

PS. anyone seen the 3D TV's, blow my mind.

No good, I think Nicholas Cage is a great actor, which is why I think if his Co star acting is just good he ends up looking bad. For instants Face off, john travolta acting sucked to me. Same happened here, Jay Baruchel character started out as for lack of better words a weakling which is fine. That's call character development, start off weak and lack confidences. Then grows as the story develops, not in this case started off weak and annoying, then ended weak and annoying. No character development and I didn't fine the movie interesting. So thumb down.

PS. John Travolta is highly over rated as a actor, could be just me.

The Karate Kid

Excellent movie, just sorry I didn't watch it earlier, great story about a kid that had to movie to china because of his mother's job. Got into some trouble with bullies, not your regular bullies, ninja bullies lucky uh. Had some excellent fight and chase scenes, probably shouldn't say fight, cause they pretty much beat his a**. So here comes Jackie Chan part. I must say he was acting kind of like a pedophile in the beginning, he was staring at the kid too long. But he ended up teaching Dre how to fight like the original Karate Kid. This was better than the original in my opinion. So thumbs up go watch.

No good, I think they tried to make it as close to the original as possible. But you wouldn't buy the A team old series to watch now, because it lame, wasn't lame in the 80's but times change. Saying I pity you fool is pretty lame. The story wasn't real good and it was a little over the top. Heard Mr. T did like it either said he hated the fo hawk, I agree should have went with the full mo hawk.

Prince of Persia

Really good movie, based on the game. But this movie turned the story in to it's own quite well. If you haven't played the game, it's about a prince who happen to come by a dagger that can control time; reverse, stop etc. but in the movie they only focus on the reversal. But the the dagger can only hold sand to reverse time for 1 min. Then he gets into some trouble have to find out who betrayed him. Has all the parts of a good movie romance, comic relief and of course action. So go watch two thumbs up.

Iron Man 2

Ok movie, just didn't jell well to me. It felt like a little choppy prelude to the next movie, Maybe their making a Iron Man 3. Here's why I felt that way, they introduce shield in this movie, he fixed the problem with the power core, intro of war machine and a little love story thrown in too, with no background. I think they expect you to know the story already, Ok fine, but your girl friend may not know and start asking annoying questions in the theater. Like what is shield, why does he have so much suites but only wear one etc. Just a little history would be nice.

You Don't Know Jack

Excellent movie, if you don't know it's a movie about Jack Kevorkian played by Al Pacino. He performed his role perfectly, which is why he's one of the greats in acting. I say that because I was watching a Dr. Kevorkian interview on TV and it matched up perfectly to his demeanor, and I most say he's a bit too egotistical in the fight for end of life choice. I think he viewed it as he's right and their wrong, but it's all about choice, the debate should never have been about him and their is where he failed. I don't think I talk out the movie, because hell it's Dr. Kevorkian. Thumbs up, it's on HBO I don't know if it's on DVD yet. It will take you into the movie, the debate, and have you thinking.

PS If you have a horse ride along, but wish it could sing too, Don't shoot the horse. Because you won't have a horse that sings or a horse.

Kick-Ass

Kick-Ass sucked ass for the first half. but as I kept watching it got better then I ended up liking it. The movie is about a kid that wondered way their was no super heroes. So he decided to give it a try, with no training and a 95 pound when wet build. His first try didn't go so well to say the least. But on his second try he end up on you tube for his vigilantism. Where actual superhero (vigilantes) which ever took a liking to him. They decide to give him a little help and it goes on from their. Stick in through the first half it's worth it, thumb up.

Bad acting and/or poorly directed. It's about a group of friends that life's sucked. So they when on a trip to their old stopping grounds, where they find a Hot tube time machine. Don't think about it too much, the more you think about it the more dumb the idea gets. They when back changed something. back in the future, their life is now what they wanted. I think it's a old Cliché, nothing wrong with Cliché when they work. This movie did not work thumb down.

Pretty good movie, about a bounty hunter that does like his job, life, He just about do like anything except gambling. Until one day he got a interesting bounty, his ex wife, which he is almost too happy to take to jail. In the process of taking her to jail, he found that it was going to be harder than he thought, and that's how the story goes. Only thing is it's a little predictable, but still funny. So if you like 300 you're going to hate this, no badass action in this. just kids good to watch, thumb up

Really good movie, really good action, the movie is about a guy whose job it is to reposes artificial organ. He and his find was two of the best, but he got in to a accident where he needs a one of those organs he is so good at reposesing. But for some reason he got a heart, and couldn't reposes organ anymore. So he found himself missing payments and need to run from the Repo Men. Had a bit of a BS ending but still really good. Two thumbs up go watch.

The Descent: 2

The Descent: 2 excellent movie, The Descent is one of the best horror movies of all time. Which is why I thought, a sequel would just end up ruin it, but to my surprise the sequel was excellent. I would say the sequel is just as good as the first, not better but just as good. For those of you who haven't seen the first (you most have been living in a cave) :) a little corny joke. But the plot of the movie is about a group of friend, that went on a trip to explorer some underground cave. They found a uncharted cave system with they thought it would be a good idea to check it out. they found some trouble. Only one made it out that's were Descent 2 picks up. If you haven't watch part one, definitely watch it first. Don't know why this wasn't release in the theaters first but their lost, rent it and have a far better movie night than any thing you can watch in the theaters right now. Your thumbs, my thumbs, and couple other thumbs up.

Good movie, It's a movie, about cops struggle with their job. It as the same feeling as Crash. Their are three main character in the movie Richard Gere as Eddie Dugan who is just trying to get to is retirement neglecting is job or not doing it as hard as he should. Don Cheadle as Tango a undercover that is getting too deep in to the gang and real life is falling apart. Ethan Hawke as Sal a narcotics cop that need money for is family and he is going to do it by any means necessary. thumbs up

Not a good movie, poor acting and a plot that would put anyone to sleep, unless they start offering coffee at the snack bar, even then you would just probably end up nodding off spilling coffee in your lap, waking everyone in the theater. Never did care much for Mel Gibson acting so I might be bios. Don't believe me, here's the plot his daughter works at a nuclear weapon facility. Where she find out something, she shouldn't so they kill her how did they kill her putting uranium in her milk, maybe her milk spoilt and turned into uranium. Cause that's what happens to milk when they spoil sometime so be careful. thumbs down.

PS. Mel Gibson is a great director I think, just wish he would quit with those damn subtitle.

The Book Of Eli

Good movie, nice fight scenes not action pack but enough. Plot is a post apocalyptic era, where Eli is traveling west, were he encounter bandits and fights don't want to give away too much info are it won't be interesting to watch. What I found most surprising is that Mila Kunis(Jackie from that 70's show) turned out to be a good actress, who would've thought. thumb up OK to watch.

Sherlock Holmes gets a passing grade. starts of a bit dull but by the end I thought ok not bad. What I thought of this movie is that it's a interesting take on Sherlock Holmes personality, it more of Sherlock Holmes as a drunk, that it. Really good movie, CGI where quite excellent. The story can very well described as indians and settlers (robbers) whatever you call it, except in this cause the indians are 10 ft tall and have some bad ass animals, the soldier weren't carrying around 6 shooter either. which makes for a very interesting plot. Thumbs up go watch.

Sucked, they didn't have a plot beside copying the first movie. Pretty much a crappy remake of of the second.Just like how The Departed was a bad version of Infernal Affairs(chinese film). Final Destination is a bad version of Final Destination. Their no twist are surprise ending. It's like watch Spike TV 1000 ways to die, but far less entertaining. thumbs down

Good Movie, been waiting to watch this movie it did not disappoint. The movie is based on a father who want to be closer to his daughter, because of his job with the government he missed most of her childhood. Soon after her birthday she and her friend takes a trip to French where they got "Taken", he then goes to get her back. The movie is real easy to get into soon you'll be yelling at the screen. Great movie, good from being to end, story is about a old white guy seen the town he lives in change. some events starting with his wife dying and some new Asian neighbors that he had a lot more colorful name than that. events cause him to interact more than he would like with his neighbors. he had some new experiences good and bad with come together to make a good story and a excellent movie. Glad to see that Clint Eastwood had one more great movie left in him, thumbs up

Example getting thrown thru a concert wall and not even a scratch on him, I'm sure it would be the other way around. other than that a good movie go watch.

Good movie, the thing that threw me for a loop was that this movie was made to explain what happened in saw 4, god know I forgot most of what happen in saw 4. You would have to watch saw 4 again to appreciate this movie I didn't like saw 4 but maybe this movie will explain a lot. they did this in saw 2 & 3 but those two movie had a better individual story where it seems 4& 5 should have been one movie. Just as gruesome a the others, remember watch saw 4 again if if you don't remember it too well, it will help you piece things together.

Really good movie, with Jason Statham from the transporter you know it has to be good and Tyrese Gibson is starting to be one of the actor I respect I haven't seen him in a bad movie yet. He's mostly the co star but he's the best co star, I thing I have ever seen. Thumbs up

Dumb movie, but it's OK to watch great acting and I laughed. I think why it needed improve is because Ben Stillar was the producer, director, actor, writer, etc. because it's hard to provide a objective eye for yourself and some parts were just stupid. I will give this one a pass.

Good movie , Brendan Fraser is one of those really dependable actor that if you like any of his movies the rest are really the same, go watch. Is it me are he never ages being watching him for year's still look the same. watch in like the mummy five he's going too say surprise and suck the life out off every one on the movie set. Great movie if you have kids take them to see it.

PS. definitely going to watch the mummy Jet lee is one of the best actors.

Good movie, but the characters are not the same as the comic or the cartoon, lets start with "BATMAN" something just don't match up for me his Confidence in himself, I guess it could be him playing a younger less mature Batman, that's fine. the other thing he talks like he has hot coal in his mouth sound dumb. The biggest problem for me is the "JOKER" not really a problem just a long as they don't call him the Joker he is not even close to being the joker, first he does not smile how can the Joker not smile come on and he's DIRTY the thing that makes the Joker the Joker is the fact that he is well dressed, hair well done, and he doesn't walk around like a zombie on speed, am I right maybe it just me. But it still a good movie, I liked the character they played, go watch just don't expect to see The batman go to see the "DARK KNIGHT".

PS I know he's playing the role of the original joker but i like the improved joker better

OK movie, the movie wasn't as good as the first, it was a pretty wrapper with little substance. the movie had great visual effects, but that was where they poured all there effort when they should have focus on the story. Would love to see a hell boy 3 they still left the story open for more.

OK movie, the beginning was excellent action packed great story and the promise of more but by the middle the story kind of flat lined were they stayed in one scene like watch it rain waiting for lightning but not seen one. Usually a movie starts out slow then finishes good, but this movie is the opposite like when you think you're going to get something good for your birthday and you get something OK you're sad, but if you think you're getting something OK an you get something good you're happy that sums up this movie.

The only thing you would miss if you don't watch it is people killing them selfs for no reason, but I thing it was because they were in this awful movie so they had to commit suicide. here how anyone should watch this movie or any M. Night Shyamalan film you find out what time the movie is going to end then you watch any other movie then when it's 5 min before the M. Night Shyamalan movie is going to be over you watch the last 5 min then you see the twisted, which is the only reason to watch his movies in the first place, thumbs down

Sucked, that the best way I can put it. Harrison Ford look 40yr too old to be going on any adventures. The scene in the movie were too choreographed like if they made one wrong step Harrison Ford would break his hip and also the scenes didn't fit well together like after every action scene he goes an takes a nap, kind of makes me wish he had taking human grow hormones like Sylvester Stallone then it could be a good movie like Rambo. Here the name this movie should have Indiana Jones and the lost medication. Go watch because it's Indiana Jones and you have to watch it not because it any good. thumbs down.

No good, was crap from begin to end. not funny at all their were some funny moments that were the parts with Steve Martin in it. all the parts they wanted people to laugh at they emphasize it, like a knock knock joke or they would repeat it just to make sure you know it's a joke only problem it wasn't funny.In the first 15min I give it a few pity laughs but shortly after that I was saying to myself please stop this awful movie, thumbs down

Great action movie, I would recommend this to be at the top of anyone's to watch list. The best movie of the Rambo series to me, I'm not a big fan of sequels, because they usual are bad or don't live up to the previous movies. but this one not only live up to the previous Rambo movies it probably exceeds them and ends the series on a high note. all thumbs up.

One of the boring-est movie I have ever seen. the plot of the movie is that the video tapes in a video rental store got erased, so two guys make the movies over. From what I seen from the make over tapes was two guys acting like fool for 20 min. which they charge 20 dollar for two tapes. To be honest I slept thru most of it. To finish don't watch this movie unless you like sleeping around strangers, and to be woke up by a broom hitting your leg because you over slept, good sleep though.

PS: is it just me are does most def characters in his movies always slow in the head, could just be me

It's was as stupid as I thought it was going to be, but the story wasn't bad which is why I watched the whole movie, the last 20 min of the movie was pretty OK. the song at the beginning of the movie was hilarious. Came together good enough to be a OK movie. Wouldn't put it at the top of any watch list, but if you don't have anything better to do or a better movie to watch, watch it.
